Many builders are constantly lowering their construction standards and forcing their subcontractors to reduce their prices (in an attempt to offset the builder’s large overhead and seek higher profitability). This is a recipe for poor quality, bad craftsmanship, and excessive warranty appointments after you move in.
YourStyle Homes are built with state of the art construction materials, and our trade partners are treated as part of our company; they are some of the best contractors in the business.
Building a YourStyle Home starts with a strong foundation, and our Superior Walls® insulated foundation system is so strong it is offered with a lifetime guarantee! We also use LPI and Advantek® engineered framing components, Tyvek® Housewrap, Bryant® high efficiency heating and cooling, and state of the art Uponor® plumbing systems. Products such as Kraftmaid® Cabinetry, Jacuzzi® baths and GE® appliances, when combined with granite countertops, tile surrounds, and site finished wood floors, demonstrate the quality and craftsmanship you can expect in a YourStyle Home.

Greater Home Equity
While there are many factors that can affect the overall value of your new home, there are opportunities to enhance your home’s value, and a few obstacles to avoid, helping to protect your investment. At YourStyle Homes we realize this, and want to do everything possible to help insure your home is a solid investment now and in the future.
Finished Lower Levels - A finished lower level is a great opportunity to increase your home’s overall value and livability. Because of this, every YourStyle Home is professionally designed with an optional finished lower level. Our lower levels are affordable, and typically designed with a large recreation room with gaming area and entertainment kitchen. We also include at least one large bedroom or flex room, and full bath. Lastly, we make sure to provide adequate areas for storage. Need to make some changes? Not a problem, Contact us and we can discuss your ideas for the perfect lower level.
Builder Financing - You may find builders offering below market interest rates to entice you to purchase based on lower monthly payments, or lower down payment requirements. While these offers may at first appear to be a value, the builder often has thousands of dollars priced into your home to cover this cost. Upon resale, this money is lost, and so is that much of your equity. At YourStyle Homes, we price into our homes only enough to cover our closing costs, and rely on our financial partners (or your own preferred source of financing) to compete for your mortgage business.
Lot Purchases – Many builders “mark- up” the cost of their lots. While there is nothing wrong with this practice as it typically is a cost being carried by the builder, Your Style Homes takes a different approach that can save you thousands. Homebuilder Design Centers – While these centers may appear to be beneficial, “a one stop shop for all your homebuilding selections”, the convenience can cost you thousands of dollars and may not be the experience you imagined. In reality, thousands of dollars may be priced into your initial home’s price to cover the design center’s operating cost. Options purchased there are typically assigned a higher profit margin, and you are sometimes challenged to make your selections within a set time frame. You can walk away feeling unsure about your choices, and taken advantage of on price. At Your Style Homes we have selected some of the best trade partners to help you make your selection process a pleasant experience, on your schedule, and you will never be taken advantage of on price. You have full access to all of our trade partners and their products, and may find a bargain or two in the process!
